Washington County High School is a public school in Sandersville, Georgia, established in 1959. It was founded through the consolidation of several smaller community high schools. The school's mascot is the Golden Hawk, with its colors of black, white, and Vegas gold derived from the previous Sandersville High School and Tennille High School. The school's yearbook is called "The Talon."

The school has a strong reputation for athletics, having produced several professional athletes in football, basketball, and baseball. Notable alumni include former NFL players Takeo Spikes and Robert Edwards, as well as WNBA player Allisha Gray. Washington County High School has also had success in academic and extracurricular competitions, with various state championships in theater and literary team competitions. The school offers a range of academic pathways, including honors and Advanced Placement courses, as well as career and technology programs.
